A cargo plane linked to the UAE Air Force, an Ilyushin IL-76 with registration number EX-76017 belonging to Fly Sky Airlines, departed from Benghazi bound for Ankara. This is the second flight for the aircraft in the last 24 hours. The plane had arrived in eastern Libya from the UAE on December 30th.

Falcon 50 Business Jet Crash in Ankara, Turkey. At 20:10 this evening, a Falcon 50 business jet with tail number 9H-DFJ departed Ankara Esenboğan Airport bound for Tripoli. Contact with the aircraft was lost at 20:52.  An emergency landing notification was received from the aircraft in the vicinity of Haymana; however, no further communication has been established since then. Syrian Airlines Director General Sameh Orabi: The Aleppo-Doha route will be launched within the next two weeks, followed by flights to the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
