For several months, Egypt has launched discreet numerous airstrikes against convoys of Emirati weapons destined for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Libya and Sudan. Egyptian aircraft and drones were reportedly involved in June, October, and November 2025, as well as on January 9 2026, to strike these convoys between Kufrah airbase and Darfur, which is under RSF control.
